We are grateful and honored by the work of the NCCC Business Leadership & Marketing Class students. Find a write-up from Northeast Kingdom Human Services on their proud accomplishment below.
"The Business Leadership and Marketing students at North Country Career Center (NCCC) presented Josh Burke with a check for $630 to support 988, the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, from the proceeds of NorahBeads.
NorahBeads (bracelets) began to remember and honor the life of Norah, a North Country student who died by suicide in 2021. The bracelets, made with Norah’s favorite stones and crystals, serve as a reminder of Norah and the message of suicide awareness. Hannah, a North Country student who helps make and sell the bracelets, remarked how great it was to see people in the school and community wearing them, knowing they symbolize the collective efforts to end the stigma around mental health. The bracelets are priced to incentive buying two, one for yourself and one to give to another, so you know you’re not alone.
You can purchase NorahBeads at the Falcon’s Nest, the NCCC school store, and online at www.norahbeads.com." - Northeast Kingdom Human Services
