Revisiting Rye

We went to Rye, New Hampshire, to spend a couple of days at the ocean. This is a place we would visit every summer, and we have a lot of beautiful family memories here. Norah loved the ocean. The girls would spend all day in the water. This is the first time we’ve been back since Norah left. It was beautiful, but bittersweet. There is a hole in our hearts, but she found little ways to be there with us. I found a piece of pink sea glass she would have loved. We did not draw the N in the sand in the picture. We had just sat down in our chairs on a drizzly afternoon to watch the surfers and looked over and saw it there. It gave me pause, as I looked and there was no one around us. Then I got warm chills, if that is such a thing. We love you Norah. You are so missed. #youareloved #youaremissed #youmatter #988
